FPL’s aviation experience to date includes projects for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Ontario Airport, Apple Valley Airport, and three United States Air Force Bases: Edwards, Los Angeles, and Vandenberg, especially on an “on-call” basis. For aviation projects, FPL’s scope of services has included street improvements, parking lot improvements, waterline replacement, sewer system improvements, traffic studies, signing and striping, street lighting, and traffic signals (new and modifications). At LAX, FPL has performed design for various projects that have required review and approval from agencies including the City of Los Angeles (BOE, LADOT, BSL), Caltrans District 7, the City of Inglewood, and the City of El Segundo.
